We’re not really given to explaining all the enemies you’ll meet, because that takes a bit of the ‘fun’ out of playing the game, but we’re giving a special mention to the jailers.

This will make him stop being a vendor for a short time but when he recovers you will be able to send him out to find items and sell things to him. He will tell you thank you and then tell you to keep the ring, as if we’d give it back anyways. You can return to the Firelink Shrine and tell Greirat about the bone. You can either fall or go around to get the item and find out what happened to Loretta. Here there is a corpse with an item on it you will want to chop down. Go down the first set of stairs and you can exit to a balcony. You will have to get through the building and out the other side to find the item you are looking for. Follow the path from the fire to the house on the other side and enter. Warp to the Undead Settlement Bonfire because it is the closet.
You can’t get this item until you get to the Undead Settlement. You can also find the guy in your Firelink shrine if you want to talk to him or buy items from him. You will have to defeat Vordt Of The Boreal Valley before you can go find Loretta. When you free him he will ask you to help him out and give you a ring for your trouble.
